Just changed AT fluid (standard + lubeguard) and have newish poly (IPD) upper motor mount bushing.
I have a kind of klunking sound and feel, when I shift from park to in-gear. While shifting through the gears with breaks applied the transmission seems to transmit a low vibration through the car. It does not do this in park or neutral. Shifts through gears seem ok when running
Forum search indicates a fluid issue or possibly mounts...any other ideas?
AT fluid level is ok cold and slightly high when hot.
How can I determine the condition of the other motor mounts...I can see them but I am unsure what they should look like installed and in good condition. The front and rear appear slightly squished and the wire pooches out where it wraps around the sides. The rubber bushings on the one near the transmission appear to have some hairline stress marks but don't seem loose or "broken" like the top one which is easy to identify poor condition. Don't really know how to describe the right side mount but it does not look odd.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and help, RR
