leaking nissens radiator 850

My replacement nissens radiator was leaking after only a year of use; I got a replacement under warranty, installed it, and the new one is now leaking, in same spot - around the seam on the bottom, I think. Are these nissens a piece of junk? Could something else be wrong - like the pressure in the system is too high? I did replace the coolant tank cap about 2 months ago - if it were defective, would it cause the pressure to rise and force a leak - in the radiator?
