1995 850 turbo not starting - 141K 850 1995

We have a 1995 850 Turbo wagon with 141K miles. All maintenance done since new and well cared for. Wife was out running errands yesterday and the car failed to start at the grocery store. I went to get her and checked out the car. Engine cranks strong and I can smell gas when I depress gas pedal during long cranking cycle. We let it sit overnight and still unable to start this morning; it is acting like no spark.

Plugs, cap, rotor and vac elbows all replaced at 116K. Is there a common component know to fail that would cause this problem. Any specific error code I should check for? Thanks in advance for all the help – you guys have saved me a lot of money over the years. Rick
