2000 S40 wheel bearings S40-V40

My front left wheel bearing is going so I am about to replace it. The dealership indicated that they replace the backing plate. I am not familiar with that and was wondering if anyone else was?

Also, as far as the hub goes (the dealership replaces those as well) would I buy the hub and the bearing seperately or does the hub come with the bearing already installed? When checking online, the hub assembly (which has the bearing in it) only appears to be for the rear.

If anyone had some part numbers, I would appreciate it.
