Thanks, Klaus.

Hi Klaus,
Thanks for your thoughts on these two XC`s. You`re pretty much in sync with my feelings about buying the `04. I haven`t had a chance to get to the dealer for a test drive( right in the middle of calving season) but hope to get to the city early next week. I`m sure they are both VERY nice cars!
Re: all seasons on an AWD. I`ve never driven an AWD, have a GMC 4x4. Wife`s 850 has Hakka`s on it & they are excellent. Would putting them on the XC be a waste of $ & maybe "overkill"?(wrong term maybe)
Yes, lots of highway miles, very, very regular oil changes, etc. Would you recommend switching to synthetic?
Hope the Minnesota winter has been kind to you. I recall driving thru a blizzard visiting friends in Twin Cities in the late `70`s, what a storm!! The 63 544 with Bridgestone snows was like a tractor & we made it thru despite cars in the ditch everywhere & barely able to see the road. But hey! I was in my twenties & lot more bravado & less common sense than I have today!
Thanks again!
Rich
