Is it a Good year S70 1998

looking at a 1998 s70 with 81k for $3500.

I have a 740 GLE which I can't kill. Great car 190K. And a v70 2003 still under warranty 63k no problems except on fuel sensor.

Would like to buy above for my son. I can do all rountine maintenance.

Question: is the car reliable? Any major defects with the year and model.

Insights greatly appreciated.
