timing belt parts 850 1997

Perplexed! According to FCP Groton's parts list there's a "timing belt tensioner DAMPER" and a timing belt tensioner PULLY". Which one is commonly called the "tensioner" that some recommend changing with a new belt or are they both replaced? Would the "damper" be hydaulic on a 97 850?
