Orange coolant...is it worth the price? 850 1994

I was just doing some regular service on my wife's old car...which is now mine. She used to take it to our local indy shop. The coolant is orange. Does anyone know why? That stuff is expensive but if my radiator or heater core will last longer it may be worth it. Any other + or - about the orange stuff would be great. Thanks.
