Update ...1998 intermittent A/C problem S70

I replaced linear pressure switch today, disconnected battery for 10 min, reconnected battery. A/C worked great. Went for a spin, and A/C kicked out @ about 2500 RPM or so.

Is it possible that the system is overcharged?

ORIGINAL POST:
A/C malfunctions intermittently. Works fine...pleanty cold, 'till engine exceeds about 3,000 RPM. Then, No A/C. Must turn off A/C for about5...10...15 minutes; turn back on and it works again. It seems that the hotter the ambient temp, the quicker it malfunctions...i.e. at lower RPM, and longer you must wait for it to function again.

Dealer said hard code identified a problem as Accelerameter sensor: part # 6842539 at cost of $436.75 less 20%.

Is this the problem or can it be something else?

A few years ago the pressure switch was replaced which solved a problem of the evaporator frosting.
