I'm still refining my repair to the driver's door stay bracket ('98 V70), and I'm seriously considering an attempt to remove and replace the bracket in the door jamb. Has anyone gone deep enough in this area to find if there's access into the bottom of the lower A-pillar? I'm reluctant to tear off a lot of interior trim, or the fender liner, only to find that the pillar is closed at the bottom. Any ideas?
