Without any prelude, the rear hatch door won't open. The lock button will go up in the unlocked position either by the remote or manually, and the external lock handle seems to move normally, but it will not open. I've tried pushing on it, ect., while operating the lock button and handle with no success. All of the other doors work normally. The only other anomaly is the rear interior light doesn't work, but that could be unrelated. I'm assuming I have to remove the interior panel to get to the latch assembly, but do I just pull it off? I don't want to cause an additional problem trying to remedy the latch problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
