I have a 1998 V70 N/A base model and the rear main seal (RMS) is leaking badly even after replacing the entire PVC system. How do I remove the automatic transmission? Can I remove it without pulling or lowering the engine?
I have replaced a clutch on FWD Mazda 626 several years ago. All I had to do was to loosen the front suspension, removed the axles, support the engine and slide it out. Quite easy actually. Is there enough room on the V70 to do the same? Would the Volvo OEM seal the best? Thanks.
