Advice Costs on Motor Mounts and Bushings 850

Hi All:

Just wanted to post that on my 850 with about 1/2 million miles, I finally bought new front motor mount 112.00 and rear 82.00 at the dealer and had installed for 240.00 to correct a thud noise. Well, car is smooth as silk at idle now. The new mounts were really heavy and the old ones were split right at the middle and were very light. Would rec. to everyone with more that 200K to have replaced. But.....as I stop the car the thud is still there. Chalk up another false diagnosis at the dealer. Had my sig. other drive the car up and down driveway and brake hard. The problem turned out to be the rear outer traling arm bushings are totally separated from the housings and while braking the arm is banging on the frame. They are 126.00 each and the inner bushings are 43.00 each for a whopping parts bill of 400.00. Will let you know what they cost to install.
