Howdy bricksters,
I will give you the first ever headliner remover tutorial. I just got done pulling the fiberglass mold out of the car though the front door, and I did it all with out breaking one piece of trim. Don't be jealous, in time, you can too recover you sagging headliner. But my question to you before I finish is: should I recover it? If so what it the glue to use. Or should I instead paint it. Now, you might be thinking, "Paint the headliner? He is crazy." Yes, paint the headliner. This is for three reasons, First, it is a hell of a lot easier to paint it instead of recover it, Second, I know even if I had all the practice in the world, I know I could never get it recover with out wrinkles, Third, If I paint it, It will never fall down again! Yippie! Beside, I remember my old 240 had a headliner like a golf cart, no cloth crap (don't build them like they use to). I thinking of painting it the same color as the interior. Now the fiberglass mold is quite "textured," but not to the point where it is districting, besides, I think it will give it a good look after the paint dries. So thats my idea, unless you know a sure fire way to lay the cloth without wrinkles.
