bent air conditioning radiator flexed the main radiator 850 1993

hello,

i'm sure someone must have run into this problem before (pun intended - read on). i appear to have driven my '93 non-turbo 850 over something which has bent the air conditioning radiator. it is bent in the middle about 2 inches backwards. the bend extends about 4 inches up and is about 6 inches wide at the base of the radiator. this radiator is mounted directly to the main engine radiator at the bottom. the bend in the air conditioning radiator appears to have flexed the lower engine radiator which is now leaking slowly from both sides right where the sides join the finned body. the engine radiator is marked 'blackstone, sweden'. i haven't tried the air conditioner so i don't know if that system is also leaking.

is there any possibility of bending the air conditioning radiator back without damage or are these things too fragile to try? will i need to replace both radiators? it's got a lot of miles already so i'm looking for the cheapest way out.

any thoughts or 'been there, done that' comments are welcome. i'm still not sure how this happened - the lower plastic nose plate is still in good shape...

thanks,
tim
;)
