My doors lock and unlock by themselves. I have loved my 2002 V70, but this started over the summer and had increased with such frequency that it now drains the battery overnight, complicated by the fact that the dome light turn on. I have pulled all locking-related fuses in the passenger and rear fuse boxes and just hear a periodic "clicking" coming from the dash, with the same results - interior lights on and battery drains.

I researched a similar problem with a posting re a '94 850 from October 2002 in the archives, but the solution talked about taking a wire brush to the terminals by the battery, which I could not even find, or pulling the central locking fuses, which does not appear to eliminate the problem.

Dealer has recommended replacing the door modules at $400 a piece - but it sounds like a fishing expedition. Any help would be appreciated.
