Son bought the car. The speedometer works but odometer doesn't. I read some of the post. The person we bought the car from did alot of front end work. struts, axles etc. The ABS light is not on.

First question Can it be a connection under the car or is it in the odometer housing?

Second, is there a way of extracting the real mileage off the odbI computer. Car has 128k and Im real concerned if mileage is not correct the timing belt needs a changing? The sticker in the car said volvo replaced timing belt last at 70k.

Any help on this
