V70 AWD 2.5T Warranty is expiring... V70-XC70 2006

Hello,

I just bought a V70 AWD 2.5T 2006. I'm very happy with it. It got 71 000km and the warranty end at 80 000km. I'm listening to the car a lot for any problem before bring it to the dealer for a last verification before warranty ends.

I got 2 questions:
First, how is the V70 2006 in terms of fiability? I've called a Volvo dealer and talk to the service department and they told me that after 2005, a lot of thing were improved and that a V70 2006 is not a car that will require a lot of repair compoare to older model that had more problem. What do you all think about this?

Second, do you have any idea of thing I should check more carefully before going for the last check before warranty ends? Any advice? Anything specific I can inspect?

Here is what I realize after observation:
- Little rattle comming from the front wheel, probable a link rod.

- When I start the engine, dash light come up sometimes dim to the minimum and when I touch the dimmer a little bit, dash light is back normal intensity... normal? known problem?

- I'm not use to drive an AWD car... I've had a 850 10v 2.4l engine FWD and the ride feeling was so soft... In my V70 AWD, I can hear a general vibration/vibrate sound comming from under the car... I guess it's the AWD mecanic moving... I'm I right? Should I care about this or is it normal? ( I can hear it especially in acceleration)

That's about it. Any advice are appreciated as well as all your answer. The more I've got, the more it will help me identifying thing to claim under warranty.

Thanks

Bruno
