I own two 97 850 wagons, a GLT and an R, both of which I work on. I need to buy either a late model S-70 for my sister who is 73, or a 2001-2003 S-60. The S-70 is a bigger car (more steel, more protection). I've heard there's little you can do on the S-60 because of the Motronic computer system. However, the main concern for my sister is safety--two airbags for the S-70, three for the S-60. How decisive a factor is this regarding the overall safety record of the two cars, given their different sizes? Additionally, were there any significant improvements in the S-60, in choosing one year over the other, from 2001 to 2003? Dick
