SRS light on V70-XC70 2002

I took out the center climate control panel and the radio to install an FM modulator for my MP3 player. I started the engine up before I had everything screwed back together, just to make sure everything worked properly. Now my SRS warning light is on. It wasn't on before I started this install. I've read a bunch of post here about disconnecting the battery and only the dealer can reset it. (I'll try the battery first)
Anybody know why it would come on by just removing the 2 items?

Also, is there a V70 FWD board here? All I see is AWD.
