Fuel filler neck leak FYI 850

Hi all.

It appeared as if the fuel filler neck on my 96 850 was leaking when I filled it up. Very decieving! Turned out to be a 6" long rubber hose at the top of the tank that had dry-rotted on both ends.. Had to drop the tank to find it, but the way it leaked it looked like it was the filler neck.

Thanks to all for your responses of my break squeal message. I am new to Volvo and am not having a good time with it yet. Has been a money pit in the month I have had it!
