strapping up a broken-mount radiator? 850 1995

My 850's radiator's left mount is broken; the radiator is hanging a bit low on that side, and gets jostled up and down (why should it be any different?) when the car goes over bumps. (Radiator was replaced to correct the same condition 5 years ago.)

It looks like a right-angle bracket (like an "L", with the horizontal part supporting the leftmost few inches along the bottom of the radiator, and the vertical part coming up the left edge) strapped upward (from the top of the bracket's vertical edge to the unibody's standard mounting bolt) might keep the radiator happily located for quite a while.

Steel? Fiberglass? Maybe some kind of cushioning (vibration-absorbing) material between the homemade bracket and the radiator...?

Possible? Foolish? Ridiculous?

Comments? (TIA)
