Am looking at a 2004 V70 with 37K on it. It was a Volvo lemon law buyback in California because of poor acceleration. Volvo redid the tranny software which supposedly corrected the problem. Are there other issues that would cause Volvo to buy back a car with poor acceleration? A tranny software correction doesn't sound right. If that were the case why didn't Volvo solve the problem for the owner instead of buying it back? Should I be looking elsewhere? With that late a year and low miles I find it difficult to believe something could go wrong enough to force Volvo to take it back. Dick
