opinions sought V70-XC70

I have owned a 1999 XC70 since new, with 162K miles. I like the safety, comfort, and bad weather handling that it provides, although it's been quite a money drain on repairs, etc., over the years. I am for some reason considering purchasing a CPO Volvo in the next 6 months. Choices will mostly be 2005 and 2006 XC70's, although I have seen some 2005 and 2006 VR70's available once in a while. Opinions and advice? Thanks.
