It's time.
The left front wheel bearing is howling like a cheap skateboard on plywood. I have the Bay13 proceedure printed and memorized and would like input from someone who has done the replacment.
I do all my own work (clutches, t-belts, CV axles, brakes, water pumps, electrical etc) so know I can do the job but are there any "gotchas" in the project? I'll need to get a Torx socket for the hub bolts and this might be a great time to buy an air ratchet.
The Bay 13 procedure has me removing the lower control arm from the subframe. Best way to do it? Is this the time to replace the strut mounts too as I'm halfway there?
Bummer is I just had an alignment and the steering, tracking and tire wear are perfect.
Thanks,
Erwin
