Hey all - recently lost the front left tire on my 95 850 GLT. I dont know if someone stole some lugnuts (this has happened in my family before) or if they all came loose at once, but only 1 sheared off in the hub. Threads wrecked on the rest of the holes in the hub as well. My question lies with the exposed threads on the end of my axle. I'm pretty sure I can get away with just a new rotor and hub, but the first 4 or 5 of the 12 exposed threads on the end of my axle are pretty badly worn down. I am going to try and file it down to see if I can use the locknut to recut them, but if this fails I was wondering if anyone knew the thread size/type on the end axle threads so I can try and track down a die.
