Ok I've looked around the internet and I haven't found an answer to my stupid question. I have two 850's, a '96 850 GLE that I have had since new and I recently bought a '96 850 Turbo. The oil sump dipstick on the GLE has the add marker at 1 liter while on the Turbo the add mark is at 1.5 liter. This is the only car that I have ever owned where this is the case. I would have thought that in a turbo where I think that oil level would be more crucial that Volvo would have gone with the industry norm at the very least. Can someone enlighten me why Volvo in their infinite knowledge would have done this?
