Hi All:
I did get some injectors w/ rail from ebay for 40 bucks and had them sent to witchunter for cleaning and to have new screens and o-rings installed. Volvo 0rings alone are 10.00 each and the guy only charges 18 ea. so it's not too bad. He sends a report on performance before and after......the injectors I got came from a car w/ 180K according to the NH junkyard purveyor. The before numbers were 105CC at 2500rmp to as low as 86CC at 2500rpm and a 20% difference in flow before. After cleaning they flowed at 106/107 with a 1.4% difference. I took the injectors to a craislist mechanic and he charged me 50 bucks to put them in. An easy job really, I just didn't want to mess something up and have to tow the car. On a 94 you just pull the guard back on the rail, unplug the injecotrs (clip is kinda tricky), take the torks out of the end of the fuel supply and give it a good pull to disconnect. Pull the injectors out of the rail, put new ones back in, (make sure spacers are in rail) and tighten down to 88 inch pounds. Anyway, The car is a bit smoother and I think I got my fuel mileage back up to around 25 in the city, but will have to wait and see. Just FYI. Was going to send to a shop Klaus recommended, but I was curious about the report and I wanted the screens replaced....
