Is it common for the shift light indicator on the dash to light up briefly when you shift from park to drive? Mine lights up between shifts, then goes away after the trans is engaged, the only thing is, the other day the light stayed on and flashed, so i parked, then restarted the car, no problems, and the trans seems to work fine, and i have changed and flushed trans fluid like 10k miles ago, im gonna pull the codes this weekend, but was curious if anybody knew anything, and im gonna search the archives, i just hope its something simple, but the flashing has only happened twice in a year and a half, something stupid?
