roof trim moldings - minor peeling S70 1998

I just had a LOF service at the dealer and pointed out that one end (endcaps?) of the molding on each side were slightly peeled. I mentioned to them that I was thinking of just applying a touch of glue but wanted to see what they can do about it first. The dealer ordered new moldings (pn-9190459 and pn-9190460) and the work will be covered under warranty.

My question is: Is this a simple thing for the dealer to replace the roof moldings? Is adhesive normally used?

The reason I asked is because of my previous experience with the bubbling door panel saga which was suppose to be simple but required close to 10 visits to the service department until the issue was resolved (I finally got 4 new door panels instead of just the messy re-skinned panel inserts, BTW). Due to this I am hesitant to have a tech work on interior/exterior body trims that require gluing.
