Stumped On Accessing Lamp In Third Brake Light Under Spoiler 850 1993

Hello again lads,

The brake light mounted under the spoiler on the trunk was operating intermittently for a couple days and has now failed completely. Opening the rear access to the light's housing to troubleshoot would seem to be a routine matter.

I used a quarter to turn the round fixture 1/4 turn and then it stops.

Is this supposed to continue turning and screw out? Or is the assembly supposed to pop out after the 1/4 turn?

I thought I'd chime in before I broke something. Any tips would be appreciated.
