Turn Signal Recall S70 98

Picked up my S70 recently, after getting the turn signal work. Dealer had removed my "Eurolights/ H7's" and replaced with halogens and a new wiring harness, of which they state that will lower power requirements and lengthen the life of the bulbs. I'm not sure if it is safe to reinstall my Eurolights, (mechanic may have oiled the glass), or if the new harness will adequarely power the H7's. I kinda hate to throw away the money spent on the Eurolights. Any ideas, are the upgrades comparable?
