17" tires: 205/45, 215/45, 215/40, 225/40 850 1995

stock turbo tires were 205/50-16. stock t-5r and r tires were 205/45-17. i've got 215/45-17 tires on right now. wondering if the 225/40-17 ever rubbed (as they are closest in tire diameter to the 205/50-16). only make that has that size is nitto, nt 555 extreme performance. any insights would be helpful. thanx
