V70 front shocks V70-XC70

Hi

I have a 1999 V70 on which I installed bilstein HD shocks all around. I had problems with the front shocks having too much play and subsequently had FCP Groton HD Spring seats installed. THe ride seems to be tight for a while but now again I have a lot of play. Looking in the engine compartment I see the top nut , then a rubber bushing , when I push down on the body there is about 1/2 - 1" play between that bushing and what I believe to be the spring seat.
