My blower motor stopped working over the last two months. At first, when the motor was turned on high, it would automatically drop down and blow at a lower fan speed, then jump back up. It would do this until it no longer worked in the high range - only the low - it then stopped altogether.

Is this related to replacing the "blower motor resistor"? If so, where is the resistor located and can it be reached without being a Volvo Mechanic?
