With my upcoming HID upgraded probably occuring tomorrow, I was thinking about a plan of attack. In particular, I was thinking about how would be the best way to connect the 9006 wiring extension, to the existing 9006 wiring.

The wiring from the car looks like two pieces of metal that would pinch down on the flat connectors of wiring. I am not satisfied with that connection. Thus I thought about things like using some high temp silicone or other adhesive to hold the wiring in the connector.

I remembered that you had already done this upgrade, so I thought I'd check out your HID installation instructions on volvospeed.com. Sure enough, you mentioned the same concern.

Thus I was thinking, where can I get an opposite end 9006 connector . . . well, where else? From a 9006 bulb! What do you think about removing the glass portion and cutting the hard non-light-producing metal, and soldering the 9006 connection to this, with some silver solder of course, and thus allowing complete click on and click off connections?
