How is the 2005 V50? V50 2005

Nationwide Ins. Co. totaled my '95 850 GLT with 150K after getting hit head-on by an uninsured drunk driver in a Ford F-150 (he was sliding sideways).

Now I must find a new(er) car. 2004/2005 S80s and V70s seem scarce in my mileage/price range in DFW area. So I'm considering expanding my search to V50s. Am I looking at a buzzsaw of problems, or are they manageable fixes? I'm not a complete DIY'r but I've benefited greatly from info on this forum and other sites to manage my '91 740 wagon, '95 850 GLT, and '97 850 wagon.

BTW: The drunk driver was sliding sideways on a residential street after a brief rainshower. After hitting me, he continued through a chainlink fence and into a yard, stopping before hitting a house. He tried to run, climbed over the fence, only to be stopped and wrestled to the ground by neigbors who witnessed it. One was a security guard and had a kid run into the house to retrieve handcuffs and had him cuffed and ready for the police. I was unscathed, and watched this all go down with some amusement.
