Malangi,

Sorry you are having problems with smooth take-up on the clutch. I can't explain it. My wife's 1999 V70 now has 25,000 miles, and she loves the clutch. It seems forgiving and easy to use. In fact, I was quite pleased how goood it is considering it is a transaxle design and is up front, etc. Keep practicing, and I'm confident that you'll be comfortable with it soon. Make sure that the previous user did not abuse it.
