brake rotor replacement S70 1999

Hi, I went to a local shop that my brother-in-law recommended for a brake / rotor job. The shop got their parts from AutoZone. I didn't give much thought about the parts since I have heard about Autozone. Rotors were manufactured by Valucraft.

I had to go back to my regular mechanic that used authentic Volvo parts for some previous work. He saw that I had aftermarket rotors and was telling me that it would turn black in 6 months and that it wasn't very good. In the event that I need to buy another set of rotors, can anybody recommend a brand for rotors? Buying it online would be great. Thanks in advance.
