Synthetic Oil Change Frequency V70-XC70 2000

I have used Mobil 1 Synthetic oil in my 2000 XC. The car has 35,000 miles. So far I have changed the oil every 3750 miles rather than the recommended 7500. I have done this on all prior vehicles with convential oil.

Now for the question: Is 3750 miles oil change frequency justified with synthetic vs convential oil?

I intend to own this car 8 to 12 years.
