Akebono EURO-Ceramic brake pads

Hi,

Has anyone used "Akebono EURO-Ceramic Brake Pads" on their Volvo? I have a 850 T-5 with Volvo Pad issues. My mechanic is recommending we try the Akebono EURO-Ceramic Brake Pads. The only negative thing I've read about them is that when they are cold the stopping power is not as good when they are warmed up.

Does anyone have any experience with these pads? Thoughts?
