Rear brakes: two tips 850 1996

Just finishing up doing the rear brakes on my Volvo, and two tips:

1. The T50 "socket" I purchased for the handbrake lever adjustment doesn't leave enough room for a ratchet handle. However, the Torx bit is formed on the end of a hex shank that is then pressed into a socket. The hex shank is 5/16", also known as 8mm, and an open end wrench that size was perfect for turning the socket, while one finger rested on the end of the socket to keep it in place.

2. Getting the lower (stronger) spring in place was defeating me until I used one of those trigger-type clamps (for example, http://www.irwin.com/irwin/consumer/jhtml/detail.jhtml?prodId=IrwinProd300004) to hold the brake shoes in place while I cursed the spring into its slots.
