Crank pulley removal 850

Need to get center crank pulley off. Any ideas on how I can hold the crank in place
while I break and remove the center nut? Pix would be great or links to instructions would be really nice. Doing this to replace the front crank seal, it's been leaking for years and I figure it's time to fix it, since it now is losing a quart oil every 500 miles (snythetic)Ouch!.
