My 1998 S70 T5 is running very rough (190k miles). Here are the symptoms
Engine codes- multiple cylinder misfires (only codes thrown)
The engine runs fine until it reaches operating temperature. Then it shudders and will not accelerate under load and basically wants to die. I can get up to maybe 40mph very, very slowly (it takes about a mile of distance to accelerate to that speed). Pushing the accelerator makes it run much rougher, so I feather the throttle (had to do that to get home). Even at idle it runs rough, kind of like there is water in the fuel. But I dont think its that because it runs nicely until it gets warm.
I checked the coil (swapped it) and its not the problem.
Any ideas? Fuel related or ignition? Fuel pressure regulator? Could it be the fuel pump or fuel pump RELAY?
HELP!
ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
yt
