I'm replacing the tie rod on my 850 turbo, but have run into a slight snag right in the beginning of the project. I have the two piece control arm on my car, but I don't think this makes any difference as to the problem I have run into. I was successful in removing the nut from the bolt that holds the tie rod in place. The bolt however is stuck. The three nuts attaching the tie rod to the control arm were easy to loosen. I have applied liquid wrench and hammered away at the bolt to push it out from where it holds the tie rod in place. I have also tried to apply torque to the bolt to try to break it free. No luck. The bolt still sits there stuck. I have thought about using some heat, but I think it will be difficult to aim the heat at only the housing for the bolt and not damage the drive shaft boot and other things in the process. I have heard good words about PB Blaster that IPD (my experience is that Liquid Wrench has done me no good). Any idea as to how I can get the bolt out. Thanks.
