My Mum rang this morning informing me that the V70 would die when she hit the gas.

The car starts, and idles, without issue, it is just when you hit the gas the rpms go up and then fall to too low a level causing the car to stall.

After training, this morning, I checked for codes and there were none.

I checked the vacuum lines, and they appeared to be in good order.

I was thinking, with 84k on the clock, that perhaps the fuel pump was beginning to fail. My friend, and I, will check out that possibility this evening.

Any insight would be most appreciated.
