Locked Out ! V70-XC70 1997

The electric lock has failed on one of the rear doors of my V70, locked closed. I've got the Haynes manual on how to remove the lock, but all the instructions start with the door open.

When the button on the door is pulled or pushed all the other doors lock and unlock, but not this one.

How can I open the door to strip it down?
