no shift in morning 850 93

93 850 non-turbo, wagon. In mornings , won't shift from 1st gear while gear selector is in D. Will shift if lever brought down to 3. 5 minutes later, will shift from D position all day. Seems temp related. oil temp sensor checked against another car - resistance in morning. S1 shift solonoid failed test, been replaced. Trans. control unit switched, same problem. Any help, thanks... , also - oil changed to Mobil 1 synthetic... 91,000 miles.
