Quesiton on air conditioning 850 96

Hi,

I bought a 96 850 SEDAN with 70,000 miles on it. Since then I drove about 10,000 miles for the last year. A few weeks ago, I turned on air condition and I didn't feel any cool air coming from the outlet even though I ran it for about 4 minutes. I, though, haven't noticed the same problem from then on. Can anyone tell me what kind of system it might be? It's working now but I am wondering the incidence I had a few weeks ago might be an symptom preceding worse problem. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
