S80 ball joints replacement S80 2001

Clunking or rattling sound in front end going over very small bumps at slow speed. Do not hear sounds at higher speeds. Checked all rubber bushings in front end and can't find anything bad. Thinking ball joints? I've done this on a 240 but never on a front wheel drive car. Any comments or advice?
